Anticorodal aluminum alloy (AISi1MgMn EN AW 6082) is an alloy with a wide range of uses. The Anticorodal alloy has a wide spread in the field of machine constructions, as well as in the field of welded constructions. It corresponds perfectly to the development of component parts subjected to oscillating stresses, rotating parts, being used as base plates of different sub-assemblies. Casings for hydraulic pumps or component parts of hydraulic systems can be manufactured.
Processability
The Anticorodal alloy behaves well when processed by cutting (although it results in a continuous spiral chip), it can be anodized, both natural and colored, and from the point of view of weldability, the MIG/WIG process is recommended.
Corrosion resistance: good in normal environment.

Surface treatment
The finished part can be treated superficially by simple anodization (anodization), (hard anodization, colored anodization - through a special technology - limited application); it can also be excellently polished and polished.
Areas of use
This alloy has a wide range of use, from simple parts obtained by chipping to complex hydraulic parts with high bearing capacity. Due to its good resistance to wear, it can also be used in the field of machine construction equipment (gear wheels, guide shafts, racks, guide rails, etc.), in the field of pneumatic and hydraulic systems for the manufacture of valves.
